Re: Early Palace team news
start the bloke with 4 goals in 300 minutes or the lumbering cart horse who helped bundle our own keeper into the net for taffy's consolation goal.

Re: Early Palace team news
Carroll cant start.

He's so touch rusty when he's been out its almost as if he needs 4/5 30 minute sub appearances before he even begins to look like a footballer again.

The ball was rolling up his shin, treading on the ball etc on Tuesday, to everyone's hilarity

Carroll and Hernandez to start up front then.

Are we sure Carroll is ready to start though?

Re: Early Palace team news
To be fair I think Arnie has been playing with a few niggles for a while now. A few weeks on the side line will give him the opportunity to come back fresh.

Re: Early Palace team news
TBH he hasn't been that good of late.
All the hype of him being our only match winner has affected his attitude, always questionable his team ethics. Several times of late he has not laid of the final pass to a team mate. It's good to have rivalry in the team but having both him and Hernandez together may not be the best for the current moment. Now Perez and Hernandez, with Carroll to a lesser extent can show Arnie he has to fight for his place and forget about a move away.
Will be interesting to see if Pellegrini sticks with 2 up front or has Anderson behind either Hernandez or Perez.

Re: Early Palace team news
Zabaleta did an absolutely outstanding job on Zaha in this fixture last year. I expect Pelle saw that (even though he wasn't our manager then) and that would be why he rested him last night so he would fresh for a repeat performance on Saturday. He knows what he's doing, our manager.

First sign of that cheating cunt Zaha diving the players have got to make a big deal of it and get right on to the ref complaining.Good player but definite cheating cunt and I'd hate his fucking diving to cost us.

Re: Early Palace team news
Just to point out that this is the mindset WE the support need to get rid of, we already have a doom and gloom song to keep our feet firmly on terra firma.

Wishing the opposition's best players not to be playing kind of belittles our own players abilities, and it's the fucking Nigels to boot.I have also noticed over the years that in the main the players brought in to replace them have taken their opportunity as most PL club's have pretty decent back up even though we may think they are shit.

It's down to our team to turn up and play to their best.
